  • Changes in your bowel habits – a change in what's normal for you to either constipation or diarrhoea and sometimes alternating between the two.

Who can take Buscopan tablets?

Adults and children over 12 years of age.

How to take Buscopan

Adults and children over 12 years: Take two tablets up to four times each day.

If symptoms do not improve or if they worsen after 2 weeks of treatment a doctor should be consulted.

Do not take Buscopan tablets in any of the following conditions

  • Myasthenia gravis (a rare muscle weakness)
  • Megacolon (a very enlarged colon)
  • Narrow angle glaucoma (an eye condition)
  • Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients

KEEP ALL MEDICINES OUT OF THE EACH OF CHILDREN.
